Pretty great actually. Makes me wish I didn't miss out on it as a kid, I specially liked the bosses, compared to other platformer bosses on the PS1 they are top notch.
If I had to complain about one thing, it's the weird slide he does when you stop walking, that killed me more times than anything else in the game. Also I felt that the flutter jump would more often than not hinder you instead of helping, but I got used to it quickly.
Now I'm wondering if I should play 2 or the Wii remake next.
