The real reason why Abyss won't get a remaster is because it's from the PS2 era. They'd have to redo all the models to meet modern standards. If they just upscaled the textures and didn't touch the models reviewers would criticize how "it looks like a PS2 game" even though everyone in this thread would be pretty happy with just that.
