Skyah even has the same naming conventions as other planets in Milkyway Wishes.
The rock enemy obstacle in the caves level was from Amazing Mirror.
Every track in the trailer, minus one, was from pre-RtDL. And the only one was like, a miniboss theme from RtDL.

My biggest issue with the original game was the lack of control you had and sticking to (mostly) one button is still a huge issue. Even Sakurai himself was having a hell of a time trying to maneuver around in City Trial for the demo because it's so clunky.

At least you can swap rides on the spot now.

It would be nice if they gave shit like the spin attack binds as an option but let you play using the original controls if you wanted. It would make the game so much more smooth to play.

Visually it looks fairly generic, kind of a shame since the original looks so nice and distinctive, and Forgotten Land proved that modern Kirby can still look good and unique
IDK what it is with Sakurai but it feels like his games tend to look worse visually when he has better tech to work with
New City Trial map in particular looks visually boring on the surface and I'm not a fan of it being a sky island
But the underground parts might save it, we'll see
Kind of cool to see more playable characters, though giving them all copy abilities feels like a cop-out and makes Kirby feel less unique
Mechanically it seems like it could be a complete clusterfuck in terms of balancing, but to be fair the original was horribly balanced so that might end up giving it more soul
Not a fan of the vocal theme song but the rest of the music might be okay
Also not a fan of the cringe announcer voice but whatever, it's not a huge deal
The game on the whole might just need time to grow on me as I play it
