>ds1 and 2 are insanely easy compared to bloodborne
dark souls is harder than bloodborne. it's harder to know where to go; it's also harder to progress your weapon upgrades to keep up with enemy hp unless you really know what you're doing from playing other games or using a guide;, and i tend to find that in dark souls, the gimmick bosses' gimmicks are less clever puzzles like they are in BB (note i am praising BB, i like it, it's a good game), in dark souls they're more like gotchas, "didn't think of that did you, haha, eat another death" - they cleaned that up in BB to its merit but it also makes the puzzle bosses feel easier once you figure them out.
>no one with a functioning brain thinks elden ring is easier than bloodborne
neither do i and im not sure how you get that from my post.

Elden Ring's poise system rewards aggression too, and in such a way that balances the game to flexibly allow tank and dodge roll builds. plus, you can make rally builds in ER and you don't even need malenia's rune to do it. also, being unable to run a certain build in a soulslike is arguably a disadvantage to its overall merit, wouldn't you say? i wouldn't bring up the fact that all builds in BB basically handle like quality builds as one of its merits, for some that is one of the things that make repeats of the game kind of dull.

see i dont find fault with this opinion, at least he admits it - that bloodborne has a lower skill floor to win the base game, and thats why it feels better to play than elden ring
