My point about Bloodborne was that the entire game is focused around one playstyle. Fast and aggresive. You will play by its rules, you will use silver bullets to parry, you will use the limited weapon selection and weapon arts, and you will play not roll slop. The games enemy and boss design is all crafted around your movement speed, there is bosses in Elden Ring that are straight up just Bloodborne bosses and they are fucking punishing because you're typically much slower in Elden Ring and not every boss can account for every playstyle.
TL;DR Bloodborne has immaculate game design throughout and Elden Ring is much larger but less focused
