I actually thought it was kind of clever the way they used the setting in the first game to explain why every woman had short hair. IIRC, they had some sort of technical limitation like it clipping through clothes and head pieces, and decided that every woman living in a dirty place and doing dirty jobs would mean short hair was more practical.

Sawyer's opinions are a cluster of gaming culture reactions. I don't think he's got original ideas anymore, he did once, and maybe that's what he's referring to when speaking of BG3. The rest is the stuff people of his generation sponged up off of twitter, reddit and other social media spaces over the last 15 years.

I probably would've enjoyed his take on BG3 better than the actual BG3, and his take almost happened too, he even started work on an NwN mod for it before it got repurposed into the first Pillars of Eternity.
