Is there a game that isn't best played on the hardest difficulty?

a lot of games hard difficulty just turns everything into a number sponge that encourages you to use degenerate tactics. Typically only bad games though

Many games where "difficulty" is just damage/health modifiers or right-out cheating AI (in RTS).
Obviously there will always be some retarded faggot claiming that anyone NOT playing tranny mode did not beat the game or somesuch.

Honor mode is the way to go, its the best thing about the game.
I don't think i played a RPG that understood difficulty tweaks more than this one.
