High Quality fights that were better than what most games were doing since they were 100% focused on just fighitng, no story, no platforming ect.
MHW releases and they just become lazy and phone it in
They have not added a new weapon class in 13 years.
The goodwill they have been holding onto since world is drying up, the normie audience they captured play for 1-2 months maybe 3 and turn it off.
The core audience was just kind of existing hoping that the games improved. instead we got a pointless story.
all the games mechanics revolve around number go up and nothing else
every build in the game has 20 skills and 19 of them are damage related.
And yet you still take 30 minutes to kill a 9 star monster, why? number go up.
The series has gone to utter shit and nothing will save it now, competitors will be equally as incompetent.
see dauntless , god eater, wild hearts ect.
Right now most core audiences hate capcom or are annoyed with them for how they treat their legacy ip
