Unsurprisingly, It would appear that wilds' massive streamlining is part of a company wide initiative to water down all their games to chase "accessibility". Wilds is fundamentally terrible and boring to play at every stage of the game and the haven't done anything to address the actual criticisms. People said the game was too easy and that the player is way stronger than they should be so they buffed every single player weapon substantially and gave gore magala more HP across several patches. People say they can't run the game even on good rigs that can run 90% of other games well so capcom makes the game even more unstable with each patch. Capcom have done nothing to address the terrible campaign progression or the horrific story and mandatory walk and talks, or given any indication that they even see them as a problem.
