This game isn't as good as you all pretend it is.
> it's le good puzzle game!
No it isn't. There are no interesting puzzles. Holding forward down corridors in order to find the correct door in which to fit the key you've just acquired isn't a 'puzzle'.
> It's le scary!
No it isn't.
> It provides an interesting challenge, that modern 'slop' lacks!!
No it doesn't, because it isn't hard and it isn't interesting. The game seems to want you to plan out your route to best save resources, and yet -
> three zombies spawn inside the corridor outside where Richard lay sick
> kill the zombie standing between the door to Richard and the door leading on the main hall
> I made this decision in order to clear my route somewhat in exchange for expending ammo, the entire point of the game
> one of the other two zombies in the corridor now take it's place, defeating the point of killing the first
This is called a 'gotcha'. It is bad game design and contradicts the point of clearing a route.
> that's just a small issue bro!
Cope, things like this matter. This isn't le epic slow burn high IQ masterpiece. If it isn't scary, doesn't contain good puzzles, and cheats the player, what is the point of it? The action? Because action is done better in most other games in the series. The only good thing about this game is the music and the art design. I'll be surprised if any of you make it reading this far because you /v/niggers can't read.
Also
> need to run all the way back to the other end of the mansion to get the lighter to acquire the music sheet because Jill can't see in some gloom.
Kek, millenialfags will pretend this is le epic game design.
