Strange New Worlds has good moments and 2 good characters (Captain, British asian chick) but the show mostly still just focuses on boring as fuck melodrama and the characters acting like millennial's raised on Joss Whedon.
Trek fans are just completely brain fried at this point, so they pretend shows that had promise, like Lower Decks and SNW and Picard S3, are somehow "good" when in reality objectively they are total garbage. Show these shows to any non-Trekkie and they'll be like "Wtf is this shit?".
The only good thing about Picard S3 and SNW is that it confirms that SNW and Discovery are alternative timelines. (Picard S3 shows TOS era ships which are the TOS versions, not NuTrek, Discovery episode tomorrow,tomorrow,tomorrow confirms timeline has changed due to temporal cold war)

Actually, I do like that idea for something else, but I was thinking more you have to run DS9 like you would in a colony management game. Maybe colony was the wrong word, but you'd have to do things like approve and clear all sorts of space traffic, maintain a balance between the civilian sectors, vs the starfleet sectors. Have to worry about the local businesses, and whatnot. I haven't really put more than a minute or so worth of thought into it, but it's a skeleton of an idea.

In all fairness Q's lore in Voyager went a bit off the rails. Q's Son: Q Junior gets introduced in an episode of Voyager. I don;t think he was ever really referenced again in the series. I got the old DOS 25th Anniversary point and click that I'm gonna dive into here, but I remember Star Trek: Legacy having so much potential and it just being a rush half-baked piece of shit. I get and understand and appreciate the novelty of having the game be voiced by the actual captains from the shows from Shatner to Stewart, but they all sound liek they are sleeping through their performances. And it was rushed because it wanted to coincide with the series' 50th anniversary. Regardless, I like the notion of having a game of where you take all the ships from the series in their respected factions and just going toe to toe with one another, regardless of the era. The controls were clunky, the collision detection was ass and the targeting system was retarded but there was a definite charm there and I wish it got either a remaster or a complete overhaul. I think a Star Trek game of this sort where one can fight online against other ships is something that has a lot of potential. Its really clunky and I tried really hard to like this game, so hard that I literally got drunk one night just to have the patience to learn the controls and get a hang of the combat. Really wish it would get a Steam rerelease and remaster.

The nacelles and cockpit are different, although they're different from a traditional runabout too so maybe they redesigned it (or maybe we can design our own delta flyer to some degree which would be cool)
The delta is also decently spacious, but it doesn't have a conference room like a TNG runabout does
