As you get into her story you realize she's just overworked and underpaid, which causes millennials to relate to her.
Hospital scene pulls on your heartstrings and makes you want to step in to fix shit.
And if you do romance her, she gets the best Hawaii date in the game where you get matching rings and get mistaken for honeymooners. She also has the only romance-exclusive gift in the game.

She's one of the most relatable Persona characters in the franchise. And that just makes her more charming to other people when you spend most of the game surrounded by teenagers with superpowers and are weirdly skilled or attractive for individuals that are apparently supposed to be social outcasts.
