What happened is the parasocial relationship between streamer and chat served to be too caustic to him, because he was relying on it waaaay too much and the allegation stuff was a wake-up call for that. He realized that he was leaning on the attentionwhoring from the art segment and fame for his social needs, and it both affected him mentally and physically because he'd stay up way too late trying to fulfill it.

He took some time off and realized that yes, he actually does really like streaming and never wants to retire, because he genuinely enjoys the social experience, but needed to take a step back and put some distance in the parasocial relationship for his own mental health.
