This is me with my friends. One friend only wants to play the 2 games that he spent 15k hours combined, and doesn't want to try anything else because he wants to feel superior being the better player in the lobby, even if that means he is stuck playing LoL on gold ranks after 15 years. Another friend will play some co-op game with me for a couple hours, and for the next 3 weeks he will keep playing Fortnite with the other manchildren as if he is working in daycare. The rest of the friends are also manchildren, constantly trying to ragebait each other, force burps just to stop discussions, eat with an open mic.
I don't want to deal with people like them. I don't want to spend my free time teaching them manners, that was their parents' job and they obviously failed. If I can't tolerate this behavior on my friends, what makes you think I would tolerate it on random people, playing random games online? I'd rather be alone, playing single player games, or playing multi player games without interacting with randoms, because, at the end of the day, most of the people out there aren't worth it.
