One thing I remember from 3000 that if a area had high crime there was sounds of glass breaking, gunshots and car alarms. More city builders need more feedback based on your choices, management, etc.

The full size spiral bound 'operators manual' in SC3000Unlimited is still my favorite feelie I ever got in a video game package.

I wish there was a way to find and implement the perfect balance of "I don't want to sit around and autistically wait for construction to occur" and "I don't want an entire highway system to magically appear within an in game day". Not having some kind of simulation of dealing with challenges resulting as you make infrastructure changes always bugs me.

SC4 is easy, you cant lose. Just keep placing down the grids of green and yellow, then move onto the next square.
But all my cities turn out ugly. And i wish transport did something.
Plus all the mods and images make it look so pretty when my cities are bleh. And the rail/transport mod is a complete meme and not worth your time.
