Probably. They aren't going to see any success with the civ swapping and ages mechanic. However, does anyone believe that current Firaxis are capable of making a good Civ game?

They should just let modders make a Civ VI 2: Electric Boogaloo edition. Hire: >p0khiel >sukritact >captain lime >maybe JFD
and let them use some of Firaxis' manpower to make assets.

1UPT changed it, but the move from squares to hexes fundamentally fucked up how cities and their economies work, and the devs have never figured out how to actually solve that problem since. The rot is at the core.

There are legit criticisms of how IV worked and how combat was especially in later ages, but 99% of the time when someone spouts this bullshit they end up getting revealed to have never played the fucking game in the first place and are just spouting shit.
I can't even take the term seriously anymore. Yes, this is a me problem.

the kike in charge of 2k wants to milk people for everything and has said so, even if it would make them more money these sick jews get off on pretending theyre taking advantage of the goyim

What if we made a history game, but by people that don't like or understand the appeal of history for a modern audiences that also don't like history?
>>718900084
No since they would have to make civs balanced around all periods and scrap or merge some which the publisher won't like due to dlc potential.

I'm American and have literally never heard of this person and have no idea who it is
I just assume it's some negress who was in the underground railroad?
5 and 6 were fine games. When I watched all the gameplay around 7 prerelease and they mentioned that ages would act as a catch up mechanic for everyone's techs I knew it would be shit. Im so happy I didn't buy that shit.

Yes, and thatβs why they should be in every Civ game at base. To do otherwise is nonsensical since they each establish the core gameplay.

No. I swore off buying anything from them at launch after the botched releases of Civ VI and XCOM 2, and it looks like that was the right decision here. Hopefully they fail and the IP ends up with someone else who will take better care of it.
