It's funny because I agree with some points, but watching him play any Zelda game shows he cannot back up his claims. I don't know if he failed English as a lad, but his inability to process words and derive any meaning from them, as well as ignoring blatant visual cues that could only be made more obvious if a big target and several arrows were pointing at them, shows that he's not someone to look up to for gaming wisdom. I watched someone do a first playthrough of link to the past and it made me realize a few things.
The game is painfully simple and linear.
It is revolutionary compared to Zelda 1 and 2.
The item system was pretty rough, but serviceable.
The shield was useless.
The ganon fight was pretty lame.
It's a miracle that Nintendo managed to get 3D games right with Zelda, Mario, and starfox while early PlayStation games were utter dogshit and continued to be dogshit until 98-99.
