Sure.
If you're having trouble climbing vertically, climb laterally until a way up presents itself. Only use climbing tools as a last resort.

Ascent 1 is more fall damage. Just don't take fall damage and you're good. If you're mostly up a cliff but can't quite reach the edge without desperate leaps, you're not gonna make it, conserve your health and just climb back down and regen it and either use a climbing tool or look for another way. Carry either a piton in your active slots or a healing item of some sorts, that way you can either hang and rest, or fall and heal yourself before you pass out.

Ascent 2 is extra hunger. Eat food. Of the mushrooms button shrooms with X marks on their caps are safe, cluster shrooms with smooth stems are safe, and bugle shrooms without frills under the cap are safe. Honeycomb in the Tropics and yellow winterberries in Alpine/Mesa are king. Also purple kingberries in Tropics too.

Ascent 3 is items weigh more. Bring what you need, discard what you don't. When solo you don't need rope ever, but antirope is good.

Ascent 4 is no flares on top of the peak. Bring a flare, there's a guaranteed one at the crash site.

Ascent 5 is nights are cold. This one's the killer. In coop you can huddle with buddies to share body warmth, in solo your run is somewhat up to luck, you are dependent on good loot. Lanterns and faerie lanterns are great, use them sparingly and you can get roughly two nights out of a lantern before it runs out of oil and you need to discard it. Heat packs and scorchberries are helpful too. Coldness stops in Caldera.

Ascent 6 is climbing takes additional stamina. This one is also a killer. Find a path up the mountain beforehand on lower difficulties before doing this, try to avoid lengthy climbing sequences. Use climbing tools if and when you need them. Energy drinks let you climb twice as fast, lollipops give you temporary infinite stamina, spam leap with that.

Ascent 7 is no revives. No different than 6.

And as far as each area:

On the Shore only one scout should cross a bridge at once, two or more risks the bridge breaking. Obviously don't touch the beaches urchins and jellyfish. Sometimes eating unripe fruit and taking poison damage is worth it cause poison wears off over time, hunger does not.

In Tropics if you grab a vine while falling you will take no fall damage. To get honeycomb grab a beehive and chuck it to break it, then kite the bees around until they lose target and disperse. Cooked honeycombs are some of the best food in the game. Don't eat pink bananaberries. Throw things you don't need at pesky exploding plants to clear them out. If you get a tick on you climb a wall, then you can look down and take it off. And obviously don't climb while it's raining.

In Alpine you'll want to stay in the crevices when blizzards are ongoing to avoid the cold. Napberries will completely replace your stamina bar with sleep, making you pass out, but it could save you cause sleep clears quickly. Only stand or climb on blue ice if you need to. Do not touch the geysers unless you want to die.

In Mesa run from shadow to shadow, or move at night. Watch for mirages. You can pull thorns out of your body the same way as ticks. If a tornado is approaching grab and cling to a wall to resist it. You can cook scorpions with dynamite if you need to, otherwise you can grab and throw both scorpions and dynamite away before they go off.

In Caldera make sure you have an escape plan in case the rock you're on lights up. This place is lethal without extra stamina. Run across the lavabed only if you need to. You can cook anything on a hot enough surface.

In Kiln climb as high as you can without climbing tools until you can't anymore. Generally aim for the bridges, they're your 'checkmarks'. Food isn't as valuable as climbing tools here, eat before starting your ascent.

If you climb a wall a little bit, then place the rope nail as far as you can from the ground, you can use it as a huge jump boost without consuming stamina. I also think they should have a map creator and workshop so people can make maps that get really hard, akin to Trials Fusion. I think it's fine. The core game in this case should be the act of climbing and stamina/affliction management, which is already tight and focused.
They could be reworking ascents, adding 10 new biomes, forcing us to find new routes every climb, add 100 new community-created maps and 1000 new items, but the core game would still be the same.
If you truly want to extend the time before it gets boring, a fundamental change to the act of climbing itself needs to happen.
