truthfully, despite being shorter than humans, if Mobians existed in an actual world alongside humans we would absolutely be lower on the foodchain, so to speak.
Sonic may be exceptional amongst Mobians, but it's clear that most Mobians are still their own level of being very innately fast and acrobatic compared to the average human, on top of having similar intelligence. It's been shown time and time again that just a small group of teen/young adult Mobians can thwart a human with above-average intelligence and know-how. I'd be confident in saying that Cream, a young child, would have no problem defeating an average human who's been trained in martial arts.
If Mobians for whatever reason decided that humans had no worth on this planet, we'd be pretty fucked. If Eggman's giant killer death robots can't stop some furballs, what hope does any country's artillery of tanks, planes, cruisers and soldiers have?
