Bullshit. Very hard is rough from the start. Getting all the little capsules in Falcon's VR is hard, Samurai Goroh is a cheating piece of shit with infinite boost, the casino one is actually reasonable difficulty, save Jody is retardedly hard because half the time you bounce off the door at the end even if you did it perfect, Deathborn and the rainbow road one are an absolute nightmare. This game deserves it's reputation for being brutal.

It's not that hard, people really exaggerate how difficult it really is. Pretty much everything can be done with enough practice and tries. The thing about GX is that it's so good that you'll want a reason to keep playing anyway, so no matter how long it takes you'll eventually get it if you just keep trying.

Not that anon but I've never had a problem with Deathborn or the staff ghost one. The final level in particular is pretty easy because you don't get fucked by the aggressive AI. I find that the hardest part of the game is the AI just fucking murdering you, the driving itself can be mastered

Thankfully my neighbor beat this piece of shit game so I could just enjoy it like a normal person.

I have just recently harnessed the power of Black Shadow. He's hard to keep in a straight line but now that I got his steering and drifting down he's the best in the game. If you do the high acceleration trick those blue slippery parts of the track are actually a huge boost section. He's situation though because on some tracks like cosmo terminal his steering is a death sentence. Or he just goes so damn fast that he flies off the stage.

Women are not the target audience for this sort of game, I'm not particularly skilled at vidya at all and I managed to complete everything just fine. I have no doubt that pretty much every average poster here would be capable of doing it too, it's not impossibly hard and just requires you to get a feel for how the game handles, learn the tracks so you know when to boost, and have patience for the harder story mode missions that take a bit longer until you finally beat them. It's a lot harder than the average game for sure but that's not saying much considering how casualized games are these days.

It's not like Mario Kart where the stage design feels like it was meant to cooperate with snaking, you're basically waiting for an opportunity to do it in any given F-Zero GX map.

There's quite a lot of tricks that make most missions pretty easy, and I'm not even talking about snaking and shit like that. Hard difficulty actually feels more difficult than very hard because at that point you're still trying to brute force it.

What you're describing is a flow state. You enter a flow state if your mind becomes singularly focused on a task that is demanding enough to require strong attention. Essentially your mind filters out all background noise and the only pertinent information to it during that state is the basic information needed to complete the task, anything else is pushed from your thoughts. The reason it makes you feel like you're "actually inside an F-Zero" is because it just makes your mind stop thinking about "this is a video game" and just lets you focus.

Any high focus requirement game can theoretically be used to enter a flow state but high speed racing games are typically one of the best genres for it because they have immediately understandable general rules and requirements that rarely change, but the moment to moment is a constant series of microadjustments.

I think the bet race was my first VH completion, but the bomb is pretty easy. The strategy doesn't really change between the difficulties because you die if you fuck up anyway.

Master GP will smoke your ass on certain tracks. It's hard to get first on all tracks and sometimes you just have to do well enough on other races that you can handle fucking up one race really bad. I rarely place higher than 20th on Big Blue Drift Highway and Port Town Cylinder Wave.

If you manage to kill Blood Falcon, the other racers are still fast as fuck and have good rubberbanding so stay near the front but don’t go overboard until lap 5.

Don’t be near Satan at all. He can just knock you out iirc, this is mostly an endurance race because he gives up later on

Just win, it’s a time trial with no obstacles except for the lack of rails but you already did this in normal and hard so just do it but better.
7 is the hardest by far and took me a few nights. 3 is the easiest.
