I really like this style of portraying blurred motion when she does the finger wag. It's actually really cleanly done, if you pause it on that frame you see how the illusion works but in motion it looks completely different. There's a couple examples of this throughout the first episode.

I have every Nintendo console except for the wii u and virtual boy, and now switch 2. I bought then because I like platformers. Don't have a reason to buy them any more. Man, I had a blast with Mario Maker 2. A bunch of my levels wound up getting picked up by streamers and kids would leave me a bunch of cute drawings in the comments. That was the last time when I felt I was having an "authentic" Nintendo experience and they were so slow with updates it died early. Everything else about the switch felt so hollow and plastic. I didn't get the hype behind stuff like botw and xenoblade at all, and the new pokemon games just totally suck. I mean, I really used to genuinely like Nintendo stuff A LOT and I have been feeling pretty discontent with them for a long time. It's pretty sad but I've fully moved on to the point where there's no going back now.
