yea, very good, lots of levels, with lots of stuff to do in them, every job/class has it is own minigames that unlocks functionality, you have your homebase with minigames, like all those minigames that was just on login screen in old kirby games but whole town. some gacha machines where you can get little figurines, that goes into your collection, and there are like 100-200 of them, im not sure. lots of levels too. and nice to play with 2 players, like with child, wife or some friend.

graphics are very colorful too, it is easy AAA 3d platformer, on par with mario odyssey. but you can play with someone.

I guess the main problem would be spacing out all three upgrades for each ability in a shorter campaign than the base game, but it still feels like a missed opportunity.

Unironically the sheer amount of shaders going on with the crystals. May not look like much but all the masking effects they have going on and the reflections for all the crystals likely add up, let alone the different particle effects they add and outlines, while still running at 60fps. If the base game needed to be cut down to 30fps to perform well on Switch , I do genuinely imagine it's the graphical effects making the most use out of the new hardware. That and the fact that the textures for everything generally seem to be higher resolution than on Switch, at least from what we've seen, different surfaces like the crystal platforms are very detailed. Shaders tend to be some of the more demanding things when it comes to optimization nowadays and all.

A paid DLC has a final boss reskin and another fucking orb phase, not even a new weapon or anything, the same fucking Glaive from the original final boss. Honestly each composer is very recognizable if you know what to listen for. I'd be able to make a list pretty easily if not for not wanting to avoid all spoilers. From what I can remember off the top of my head from the trailers/Treehouse footage, the main theme and mini-boss theme (which sounded fucking rad) are very clearly Yuuta Ogasawara, while the first level theme is Hirokazu Ando, which makes me glad to hear he's still working on the series after going freelance. Hope Jun Ishikawa is also still around.

So far, we haven't seen any Crystalline bosses except for the final boss, but my guess is we'll see Crystal versions of Gorimondo and a handful of other main story bosses?
