Companions are a big deal enough to not waste their reveals on minor trailers. You will get dedicated character trailers for each of them, especially since they will have to drag out marketing campaign

I think DH was revealed really early because of Expanse. Owlcat is super afraid of pissing off their stable cRPG playerbase and they talked about it before. Which is why they announced long time ago that they are working on 4 games and 3 out of them will be cRPGs and only 1 a high budget aRPG Unreal Engine game.
