Walking is so nice. It's probably the only reason I haven't had a heart attack. I don't drive so I'm walking about an hour daily. Also helps with my creative endeavors but other than that sometimes it will be cool. One time I was out for a walk, just going to the corner store and there's a park nearby so I decided to take the scenic route cause it was nice out. It was the middle of July and within this 20 minute walk a storm started out of nowhere, I was listening to the best song and it started hailing, and I've never experienced anything like it before. I'll never forget the wind and the feeling of the shards of ice melting between my flip-flops and it all over by the time i got back home. Truly enlightening stuff.
I spent 1 year in my 30's as a NEET/hikki, 16 hours on my computer per day, only went to the kitchen to eat and bathroom to shit/shower and it completely ruined my body.

There are little children more chronically debilitated than you who aren’t so miserable and full of hatred. You may find that suddenly life becomes much better for you. All things are possible when accepting the Lord. Even if the pain never subsides, it will allow him to find contentment and happiness even when dealing with minor physical pain, rather than constantly seething and existing in a spiraling state of wanting to kill other people and himself out of a misplaced sense that he is “too good” to undergo such trivial tribulations in the grand scheme of things

I only had lower back pain after going to the gym and doing deadlifts and squats. I don't do them anymore, I have taken videos of my form and can't find anything particularly crazy causing it. I've seen some goblinmode shit and those people don't get herniated disks like me. When I went to the doctor I felt like the nurse didn't believe me because she was trying to attribute it to traumatic injury but no, I think it was just too many hard gym sessions doing that shit

It has been so small sort of my professional growth and promotion, my dating life, my personal life. If you think you're too old to experience any benefit at 35 (lmao btw) you've simply never experienced it. In fact, your physical presentation is more important than anything else in your life when it comes to stuff like this. More than money or anything unless you're like a fucking billionaire or something.

I have some genetic issue with way too many lipomas all over my body and limbs, and some of them legit stop the flow of blood in my arms unless I keep them in a certain position.
But I also feel tingling and throbbing in my leg and foot occasionally and I'm not sure if that's a pinched/compressed nerve or something else.

Deadlift I wouldn't fuck with looking back, but squats you can do as long as you don't go too low. Basically not so low that your butt winks. You can test your threshold holding a rod to your back, and making sure the rod touches the back of your head, back and butt. Squat down until you lose contact with your ass, that'll give you a good indication of how low not to go
I've since switched to Bulgarian split squats and single leg Romanian deadlifts

Do you have any pics of the arm position? Not sure what you mean by arrow. First thing I would do is first lower the weight for a bit, you'll just aggravate it if you keep on. Id then start implementing more really slow and controlled warmup sets. You could also experiment with different grip width. Your individual anatomy might require you to have a wider or a more narrow grip as there's no one size fits all for functional positions

Believe or not, posture is much less important than moving yourself. You can sit like a shrimp or the way you like, but you MUST be moving yourself and adjusting your position every 1h or so. What causes back pain is how you sit in the same position for hours on end focused and that's what your body can't do it

Farmer carries are great for your posture and core, especially if you dont plan on doing any serious lifting. Hmm, yeah in addition to the other things I said (especially the power weight), I'd play with other elbow positions. There is no universal truth for stuff like this, you may just have biomechanics that require you to shift elbow position to a more flared or tucked angle. As far as chest, mind muscle connection is important, you want to imagine the pectorals working. Sounds weird but what helps me is imagining I'm actually on some type of press machine and then I'm pressing the weight via a machine. For some reason it helps me make that connection easier. Another thing is to really engage that stretch at the bottom of the press, so when it's touching your chest you really want those pecs to be stretched wide before you press again. A wider grip also engages the PEX more than a shorter grip which is more tricep.
Overall though sometimes you don't have to always feel the muscle for it to be working, a good example of that is something like skullcrushers where it higher weights you don't really feel them but it definitely works your triceps. The Golden rule is to never push through pain when it comes to stuff like this. You want to do whatever is the least painful and stick to that
>he fell for the "posture" meme
Keeping yourself in a single position will destroy your spine
You actually NEED to shift constantly, when you feel comfortable sitting, that's your best position to be in, that's IT.
No fancy ways to sit, no "ergonomic" chairs, as long as you have something to lean on to and you're not immediately in pain when sitting for 30 seconds, you're fucking set.
If you're sitting on some fucking gym ball or saddle chair, that's a surefire way to fuck yourself up.

I've found menthol based icyhots/topical pain relief to be very effective with back spasms, so it should do the same for necks. Not lidocaine based though. I only asked a chatbot the difference because lidocaine stuff does 0% for me while menthol works, and it suggested lidocane is more nerve based and menthol operates on a principle I forget the name of which is tricking your body into thinking of the 'burning' menthol sensation rather than the pain.

>>719110646
Basically yeah. Deadlifting and squats reinforce lumbar muscles and work the gluteus maximus improving posture and preventing lumbar pains.
Still, anyone unfamiliar with the form shouldn´t perform those exercises without supervision or assistance as a bad form can injure the back and knees instead.

nta. I don't have so much neck pain, but my shoulders and upper back can get crazy tight, to where it hurts to move at all. Regular walking (move the shoulders while your arms swing) and getting a pull up bar and doing hangs helped a lot. My right shoulder's still kinda fucked from using my mouse too much, though.
In general, your body has a use-it-or-lose-it system. When you use parts of your body, it directs blood flow there and will try to grow or heal weakened parts. If you don't use it, your body "decides" it must not be important and will divert resources elsewhere, leaving the unused part to wither and atrophy. I'm no doctor, but it seems to me that unless you've got some kind of serious injury or underlying health issue, routine light exercise will help with basically any chronic pain. It doesn't happen after 1 day, but even just a week or two of regularly moving around and doing light exercise will probably help.

I won´t deny it can happen, which is why one shouldn´t over exert oneself. One needs to listen to one´s own body and understand that performance fluctuates so it´s important to always warm up and check one´s condition with the first few reps.
Similarly it´s important to learn which warming and stretching exercises are recommended and not recommended depending on which exercise one is going to perform later. Doing the wrong ones may result in injuries.
In short a good prep and understanding and accepting one´s own condition is important. Some times one´s body will be just too tired to perform, some times it won´t be warm enough either and stuff like that so one shouldn´t push it.

You will need neck, rhomboid, traps and deltoids strengthening exercises. Push-ups help, but if you have trouble doing them you can do them on the wall or inclined on a desk/chair until you build strength up. The channel/site anon posted show plenty of exercises, so I would recommend trying stuff out and seeing what works for you. Also take it easy or you're just going to add more rehab to do when you get hurt.

That said i also can´t deny that as long as injuries are avoided both squats and dead-lifts help with regular back pains.
