The only ones I can think of playing recently were very simple "wait for bite, spam reel button" style minigames that I mostly ignored

I really wouldn't know, I've mostly played crappy minigames when it comes to fishing.
Last one was Webfishing and that only needed you to keep spamming the reel button.
Anyway, I placed dead last in group B and feel awful about it.
I'll try to fish for Seiun Sky with maybe one 10-roll at most, I have to hold on to a spark. My carat pile hasn't recovered from the Kitasan Black and Super Creek banners back to back.
How are you guys estimating your club's future rank? I have 18k carats + 3.7k in trophies to grab and I want to see where I might be come half-anniversary
Sega Bass Fishing is actually kind of fun but it's very limited since it's ancient, never played Fishing Planet or other dedicated fishing games

Last game I played had a minigame where you had to time your pull but if you spun your analog stick like THAT Mario Party minigame, it's easier to time, it was really basic
Anyway I got 1st in Open League, does that make me a cool kid
Damn, I thought this was a real thread and not one of those evasion generals.
The fishing in Fantasy Life was alright, but it's amazing how similar fishing minigames all happen to be. It's like some law that they all have to play very similarly.
Oh, and Tales of Arise was pretty good.

closed beta, its okay kind of janky, terrible story but mechanics are enjoyable and it has a decently well built character creator, full release probably in october which doesn't fare well since so much shit is dropping in october
How are you supposed to get enough skill points for Gemini cup while still having decent stats?
Currently building gold ship with 4 SPD 2 STAM (sometimes 3 SPD with tazuna for skill points and consistency) and I always end up with ~900 SPD and ~1100 Stam, with just enough skill points for 2 or 3 gold recovery skills and two inheritance skill (oguri and Rudolf)
Sometimes I can slip a standard distance or firm conditions but it really is pretty tight

Fenomeno's sole real issue is having a "scary" face (making her not popular with the kids at first unlike the friendly neighbor Goldship-san) and being prone to outburts when she's in STOP RIGHT HERE YOU CRIMINAL SCUM mode. She's otherwise someone who deeply wants to become something like her dad who is a police officer.
Meanwhile, Dream Journey is pretty much a yakuza pulling strings in the shadows, Orfevre is someone who larps as a (extremely possessive) king and doesn't take no as any answer, Goldship has no common sense and Nakayama is a gambling addict.
