Maybe read a book...
>some idiots from Weapons Division decide to fuck around with genetics and cloning
>accident happens because why not
>turns out it mutated into viral form
>infected technician turns into a xeno in less than a day
>before turning sheds viral particles and infects other personnel
>infected higher-up turns inside-out into a xenomorph in less than 2 days or so
>while noone suspects anything, a few personnel and tech turn into xenos and spawn a queen
>xenomorph queen just poops out a cloud of viral particles into a vent shaft
>due to genetic fuck-up a single host can spawn multiple xenos
>kneebursters
Whole station goes bye-bye, including lemurs, bees, etc. Atleast Bishop and Hicks and one tech survive.
Same fate befalls the russian station, except their own navy nukes them.
The thing is, people underestimate xenomorphs way too much.
>facehugger infects a spacemarine
Or
>sm breathes in some viral particulate
Yeah, lets see how well that goes... xenomorph with SM genes.
Or xeno gets loose in a Hive City...
Or xeno infects a tyranid...
And the issue is, xenomorphs violate laws of the universe (acid blood - are they made out of teflon?, violation of laws of conservation of mass - do they actually eat anything?, super detection and psionic/telepathic link). On top of that, there is an issue of viral particulate, whereby even stuff like artificial blood that androids use (that milk) can be the medium to grow an egg or transfer viral particles.
Xenomorphs are a biological weapon, and its purpose is total extermination. So no, you cannot allow yourself to underestimate the danger.
