I think part of the problem is in my memory anyway, no characters really act like she's being a fuckwit. They all act like she's this wise mentor or she is a true hero because she's sacrificing herself for her country.

The Fear is far and away the worst fight in the game, and that’s an insane thing to say considering the Fury exists. No fucking idea how people play nonlethal in this game on any difficulty higher than Normal.

Her main issue was that her world views were conflicting with her role as soldier. She performed the mission and the actions of what was expected of her, but she was yapping and yapping about contrarian things to everyone who was listening, planting seeds of discord and rebellion that would last decades to solve.
