Okay I get that it's meant to be that their idolising of the Boss created an idealised vision of her that wasn't truly representative of who she really was and they imposed their own world views onto hers to justify themselves fulfilling her legacy in the way they wanted to interpret it.

But how the FUCK do you misinterpret a message THAT simple. Even accounting for having to make the prequel fit the established canon of MG2 and MGS2, it makes them look like mental patients instead of bitterly committed ideologues.

I don't get it why does everyone cream their pants over this character? Her first appearance has her betray everyone and for the rest of the game she severely beats up snake for no good reason. Then the last minute twist reveals she was good all along despite acting like a cunt the whole time. The final scene feels forced as fuck
