Just finished playing the game for now, stopped at that first time where you can kill The End for the first time.
I will say, it's really annoying that even games from 20 years ago that are remade have these nagging performance issues, it really feels like we are never going to be done with techinical issues on video games because once everything is in order and working nicely we move the goalpost.
It would really have been nice if the game ran nicely, if i could use my 144 hz instead of barely running the game at a steady 60 frames, and it would have been GREAT if i DIDN'T need to use DLSS to game in 1080p.

I'll have to admit that the game looks great, the jungle really feels more like a jungle because there's so much more green everywhere. I'll have to say that some of the animals when you get up close can break the immersion because they look kinda goofy.

Well, i didn't buy it because i wasn't willing to pay for MGS 3 for the fourth time now (PS2, PS3, 3DS, Vita are the versions i own), but if it's someone getting into the series for the first time... i don't think anyone should start on Delta, it will make the 1 and 2 feel arcaic, and 2 is still an AMAZING game, better than 3 imo.

The Boss only makes sense as a character once you accept she's essentially just Metal Gear Jesus.

She's embodies the holy ideal, she dies for our sins, her "children" all try to follow her will to make the world a better place, but end up fucking shit up more in the process. In the end Solid Snake ends up being the best one them, because he wasn't some kind of crazy idealist trying to change the world.
