To me it's just a way to get a quick fix of Elden Ring's combat without needing to sit in front of a boss fog with my summon sign hoping someone is in my level range and is needing help for that boss

I've done Co-op in every souls games since DeS on the PS3, so Nightreign is perfect for me, and the random elements keep it relatively fresh on a run by run basis (base game co-op can get too predictable and easy because it's YOUR build down to the last details)

Also I do enjoy how all the classes play differently and have unique skills, it gives me a Sekiro kind of feeling where Wolf is a set character that you linearly make stronger, but he has enough unique tools that it doesn't just feel like a gimped Souls player character

This isn't a huge crushing difference, but it's a fucking huge amount of power to get at level 1 in exchange for a tiny amount of Vigor. With ARC-centric weapons, level 1 Executor only has 29 less AR than the Raider does with the Giant Crusher, when the Raider is level 15.
