There's an achievement for rerolling 50 times; spread out over 10 shops means 5 rerolls per shop so if you're not taking the bonuses for 2 free normal rerolls + paying for an extra normal reroll + 2 keyword rerolls what are you doing? Meanwhile wei sang got done fucking dirty by how he gains his strider since strider only triggers on turn end so it isnt until T3 that he gains the bonus haste and fufills one of the conditionals to gain linebreaker. So you can only gain 1 linebreak max on T1/2 by nat rolling a +2 speed value than the target, and then after T3 he can only gain 2 linebreaker per turn. And despite having no skills that double tremor burst its his third linebreaker conditional if he bursts twice (possibly future ego synergy?). Also his base power when not flipping heads is straight ass so he feels like shit to use at 0 sp and makes the clash win trigger for linebreaker even harder.
Kinda pisses me off because I keep trying to get his empowered S3 for the free Xichunmael S3 so on the same turn she enters she can S1-2 -> S3 -> regular skill -> another free S3.

You Sinclair feels like he was made in mind to sub in later in the fight, pop Tears of the Tarnished blood, and then wreck house but it feels very mediocre overall. I agree his Linebreaker gain is too slow, its very awkward for short fights since you'll never gain enough to where the trade off for aoe instead of damage will make sense. So I think it was made in mind for boss fights where you have a lot of ads to deal with, but in that case I'd rather have more single target damage. Concussion doesn't even benefit Heishou that much since Deathrites do Gluttony damage, which allows them to bypass passives that decrease rupture damage, so it ends up being kind of a meh affect. It helps you kill already weak bosses faster. He also gets the double whammy of having Dimension Shredder tax so the base count in his kit is bad.
I think the way he is supposed to work is that since his alternate skill 3 can fulfill all of his conditions for gaining Linebreaker he can just keep the ball rolling in chain battles where you're fighting hordes of enemies. Although in that case Yi Sang already has Fell Bullet and now has an extra team member to sacrifice and he's just not able to compete against that.

Really, guess I missed that lol. Although I have to say, unlike Rupture and Bleed, Tremor Count isn't that important since it only lowers on Burst or turn end. I think you can fit him into a Tremor team and his lack of count application can be negligible. Anyways, his synergy with the Heishou is negligible so I wouldn't be surprised if he was made to work with a future ID or EGO in mind.
The only thing I really dislike about him, is that he gives power up and poise potency to Xishmael instead of attack level and Poise Count.

This game is omega easy and if you ask for a friend code you can just grab someone who has every relevant ID maxed and faceroll 99% of the game. Probably even easier if you do basic research and end up with 2-4 decent IDs.
I took nFaust with my start ticket but I was planning on Bleed from the get-go because of C7. I think for this Canto, you just take nClair and send it. Aim for a team of highrolling IDs, we don't actually care at all about synergy whatsoever. If you can outclash them, you autowin outside of maybe 4-5 fights in the entire game.
