I was able to get Deltarune a few minutes after it released, but the checkout took like 5 minutes to process. With Silksong I cant even get into the cart without running into a problem.

Because processing a payment relies on other companies and separate systems and that's not just on steam unlike handling multiplayer, counting people online and sending you files over the internet
