It will always be hilarious to me how far nu-vidya designers will go to prove a point. Panam is not particularly ugly, but neither is she a bombshell. She is a mid-tier woman but yet has a few nice parts. Here's the thing, they very clearly had the blueprints to make her attractive or hot, and clearly they are competent in so as you can see by majority of the women in the game, yet here the one actual straight woman romance option, they decide to make her a 7/10, not ugly but not pretty. A lot of the relationships in Cyberpunk are "hey do this thing for me pretty please". You do get paid but it's never stated in game that you're being compensated, you're just doing it because V is a swell guy I guess. Even Johnny gives you shit for wasting time trying to help Judy's whores. I sent Songbird to the moon because it's the only real choice she's been able to make for herself for most of her life. Reed dying feels like it's the release he needs. If Songbird does die, at least she dies free of all the shit Myers had her doing on earth.
I would've preferred a more ambiguous ending but then I got a holo from an unknown number a couple days after finishing the expansion which was obviously from her, so I guess she's doing okay at the very least.
