Yeah. It creates kind of an interactive experience resembling a video game. But fundamentally different. Everyone is shitting on the new one, but the sewing needle sword is a pretty great design choice. Even if there was nothing to do in the game, I think people would still check it out because of how it stimulates the imagination.
And that's the central problem with this hobby. It used to be that to extract money from someone, you had to make a gradually more difficult challenge PLUS an attractive aesthetic which led to quarter feeding. It's this dynamic which produced the kind of entertainment that gave birth to the industry and following. But now since the money is paid up front, the only focal point is making a seamless trek through your content like you are watching a movie. This replaced the audience for a MUCH LARGER one by catering to the low iq. A common criticism, but I hope I have sufficiently elaborated on why that is.
