It would honestly be worse if the Castlevania DLC never came out. I struggle to see how a game that becomes increasingly brain-dead the more you play can remain fun. It's just all meta-progression. Castlevania DLC was just pure unadulterated soul though

I've always preferred the idea of him as Richter's dad, even if Juste would be in his 40's and it arguably makes the family a bit smaller.
It also feels like a waste to kill off Lydie, Maxim, and Juste's kid just to give Juste (and Richter) a tragic backstory.
