Why is the PC performance so abominable
I've literally never had a game crash my computer as many times as this and I've beat the "Liquid Fire" boss after Jill kills the priest like 10 times literally and it crashes

For the game itself:

Music in this and FF7 Rebirth are fantastic.

Combat I like more than DMC5.

Grimdark world full of slavery and they have to eat chocobos to survive is a good subversion of the series' teenager-oriented stories.

Clive is cool when he kills a dragoon with a fireball as a kid, then riding Garuda and stabbing her in the eye. It's really epic. Jill is cute and has nice armpits ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

You won't catch me defending Squeenix ever but I think FF16 and even Rebirth have been really good games. But you know always be cautious if you think Squeenix did something good because there are always 10 dumb things.

i love the game flaws and all, but i wish the world was explorable, teleporting via a map felt very lazy

Why hasn't any game copied and expanded on something like Arc the Lad TOTS? Just add some timed shit on top of borrowing environmental stuff to make it more interesting.

I'll just keep playing Rebirth and MGS Delta until an update maybe idk. FFXVI fix, d3d12 fix, Special K, lower res FMVs (I wish there was a download for even lower res FMVs or just remove them altogether), and disabling core 0 in task manager. Nothing fixed this section after Jill kills the priest.

The issue is probably that there are 2 broken FMVs back to back. They're unskippable and crash the game.

I'm completely fine with it not being turn based and I still think a game with a JRPG's structure with combat in the vein of DMC is an interesting idea but the game is absolutely atrocious. I was insulted by how bad it is.

Most Squeenix ports are shit. This is why consolefags continue to defend their anti PC position on this matter. Because Japan doesn't care for PC gaming and they're utter retards that don't ever want to improve. They've had years to get their ports right and it's just intentional at this stage i would wager. As much all the Capcom money hatting was way back when when they deliberately didn't bring their games to PC.
