Other thread had people mention using traps on the Mookfly or whatever it is, when I beat that well before I got to the one who sells the trap. I keep saying it, but the ambience music overall feels lacking compared to Hollow Knight, which IMO is what tied the whole atmosphere together. When I think of City of Tears and Crystal Peak their respective soundtracks is what comes to mind.

Hard to top the City of Tears but the prison sequence, if you know you know, genuinely surpassed Deepnest for me. It was just so out of left field.

City of Tears is just impossible to top though desu because it's born out of the setting, theme, and tone of Hollow Knight.
It's hard for Silksong to truly match that sort of feel without it especially since throughout the game we're explicitly told about Citadel.

I thought widow would be horrible, but it was acutally a pretty fun fight. So far I'd say the platforming sections and locked combat rooms have been more difficult than the bosses, but I also haven't fought the savage beast fly yet that people are complaining about. The boss before you get the wall jump was making me lose some hair before I realised that the addons can be oneshot with the silk spear, then it got pretty easy.

Hunter is "average" but Focus really lets it compete with the others when you're performing well
Reaper is built for "playing it safe" hit and run style tactics due to increased reach and the extra Silk gen
Wanderer is literally just Hollow Knight moveset, faster attacks and OG pogo but its range is ass so everything that comes with that

Beast is pure gas, and while its has strictly "better" healing potential on paper, the fact that its an install where you have to hit the enemy to heal instead of just healing you means its super high risk/reward or w/e.
Also its pogo attack is the jankest shit i've seen in this game so far oh my god

The west-of-bell whatshername woth sister fister has like 300-400 geo to spend but none of the enemies drop any aside from a single red beads dude that might or might not be actively immortal (I spanked him for like 4 minutes then just left). If you went there after buying the backpack upgrade and charms to the east you’re kinda out of luck because the enemies there simply don’t drop beads because fuck you
