Ok i was the one who asked, do you have something to replace Narita Taishin? Her spec prio is kinda shit. Focusing on skills on cards is less important than getting raw stats for this. Sweep Tosho or the free special week MLB would be better. If you're running full stamina sparks then you should definitely be hitting the 1200 cap. Only 12 races run tells me you didn't do that many G1s as well, so I'm wondering how your stat total is so low? Just max friendship out asap then spam rainbows. Get like 400speed/power then max stamina, after stam is maxed out then go back to spamming speed. Take any rainbow training that's 2 or more girls. Take risks anything under 35% for rainbow training I'm clicking. The more risks you take the better the possible outcome

This is were me being the worst trainer on /v/ comes in, like you said, I shouldn't be having a stat total this low. I will say that this run failed like half the speed trainings under 30% failure but that still doesn't say anything because I never hit the stat totals anyways, even with decent RNG

It's fine. Just take the deck you have and optimize better this time. There's alot of RNG involved anyway if you have a good specialty prio speedcard you can take swap Narita out, if not just bang your head against it till it works. Maybe get a 9* stam friend with more white sparks and actually useful skills they can pass down. Sweep Tosho is good for things other than Charming too. Lone wolf can power you through the whole URA with the free raw stats you get in exchange for 1 mood up event.

If you are running pace use someone like tachyon that has built in recovery. Her ult is recovery and she gets race planner at potential level 5. So you'd only have to use super creek to get all three. If you're running end closer, they also have a built in recovery in their potential so you only need to use creek since they only need two golds to make it.

I tend to always do the 3 triple crowns because they are evenly spaced out and make sense for Golshi. First year just friendship training, then I start prioritizing hints and rainbows unless lot's of unmaxed friendships get together, I try to keep my mood great but maybe my problem is my energy management. An anon told me I did too much Wit so now I try to space it out more, I still find myself struggling to keep energy in critical rainbows (Summer camps tend to work out don't usually need more than 1 rest or none at all). Then another problem that might be it is the fact that I'm NEVER able to get speed and stam trainings to level 5. They always end up 3-4 at most

Does Front Runner need power? I was under the impression that power is only for breaking out of packs. After you max your friendships you should always be doing stamina and power, so you should be getting at least one of them to 5, its hard to give advice without actually being able to the see the training, you said you did too much wit? That's when you do wit or rest, try to always ask yourself which training will give you the best bang for your buck. Since you want to maximize stamina and speed as much as possible you gotta be strategic. Prioritize speed and stamina after your friendships are maxed, only do strength or guts if they have a really good deal of stats or will boost many friendships before you have them maxed. Use wit not to avoid resting but to delay it as much as possible. Building a proper ace is tricky but remember you have 20% growth in stamina with gold ship, she can get some insane growth very quickly

Go for long corners/late surger (or whatever your race style is) corners/straightaways over curvature on this map. Curvature is too expensive and the other long/style corners straightaways abilities are cheaper and more effective here. Curvatures not bad here, but its too expensive when you need to buy multiple gold heals as well. The corners/straightaways abilities are consistently good on every track, always grab them if it matches the distance/style you’re in. And yeah you can stack all three and benefit if you got the points for it

Nah not necessarily. Long corners is still one of the best abilities you can pick for this match. Long straightaways is just as good here, but normally corners is always better. It still edges out straightaways, but both are worth grabbing generally speaking. If you go on the umalator, those are gonna be the highest recommended skills to increase your chances of winning, even over curvature at least for this map.

This is pretty rough but I think its salvageble, try using spe-chan, Taishin, Kitasan, McQueen, creek and borrow a MLB sky or satono for stamina gain, you should be able to get decent speed and stamina with that. Your legacies should be mainly stamina and long, but with some end closer sprinkled there so you can get maya to A. If you max maya's stamina you need two golds to clear the track, if you can do that and proc long S youll make it to finals

I have a 2LB kitasan and a MLB halo that are locked in. If Im building golshi, do I go with my 0LB tosho, MLB Eishin flash, or MLB Taishin?
Normally I dont run taishin and just put tosho on, but she does have end closer corners or something like that that I wouldnt mind grabbing. Worse specialty priority than 0LB tosho, but better mood bonus. I think I might just leave out taishin and go with tosho and flash because Tosho even at 0LB just has a lot to offer, and taishin’s specialty priority is garbage even at MLB.

Do you even have enough skill points to buy the NRT skills? 2 gold heals, some good greens, and Spurt already cost a lot. Kita can also give Long Corners on top of that, and even Sweep has some nice skills (though you won't get them often). Curvature also exists.
My experience with NRT has been shit so I think leaving her out is the right choice, her specialty priority is just too low.

Leave out taishin if you are running a 3/3 comp. Eisin Flash is much better, her events give a lot of energy, she gives a mood up and increases max energy by 4. Has greater specialty priority, gives a hint for standard distance which is really good for this track, etc. If running 4/2 id use MLB sweep over taishin, her priority is awful

Winning career goals is not enough, as you need to do exceptionally well.
What I mean is when you like a 30% failure on a double rainbow you take it.
You need to push to the limits, because playing safe, not taking even a 10% failure rate will give you "okay" uma. And "okay" is not enough especially since you go against whales too. Get used to take great risks. No, I'm not Nakayama Festa.

Guys, how do you usually train your umas?
I use Tazuna so her lower cost trainings plus free recovery/heal conditions allow me to have good runs most of the time; Still, losing a card seems to be a big trade off for getting two stats at big numbers.

Do you guys yolo > 20% trainings? or do you keep your energy in the upper half range to not risk getting failure chances? Do you abuse wit or rest when very low?

I like the Tazuna SSR card a lot, it's a huge boost to help stabalise runs, and definitely worth giving up the dream of a 5x Rainbow that you'll never see anyway.

I almost never do a 20% training. I'll be hesitant to even do a 15% one. The cost of failure is too big, it'd have to be a really good rainbow to take the chance.

I wouldnt recommend using Tazuna for the CM. For team trials maybe but for here you need the extra stats. So 4-2 speed/stam is pretty common, some running 3 of each.

I only go for 20% when the risk is worth it ie rainbows. I top off with wit when it makes sense because if you neglect it outright you’ll wind up a complete witlet. Wit is good to train when theres no good training options or G1s to race and you dont necessarily need a full heal, especially if a few support cards are hanging out in wit then go for it. You gotta preserve your energy for the good rainbows. I will go go for risky plays when its gonna possibly give me 50+ speed/25 power or whatever. Otherwise any more than 15% I try to stay away, even that is risky. 4-5% is the sweetspot for me, but I’ll be riskier or safer depending on what the calendar is looking like. You want to make sure you’re well rested for summer camp and before the final day of the third year to make the finale training more useful. Training wit during summer camp can also be better than resting sometimes to wait for a good rainbow, plus its lvl 5 wit training.

I LOVE Tazuna card and she is very helpful. Then again, I think I am crippling my stats by sacrificing one card for her.

I see people with 1k in at least two stats and have no idea how they get such things.

junior year focus on building friendships (2+ supports) with a priority on speed since sometimes you get fucked if its too low, remember that hints give you +5 friendship points so its like another support is there

classic year more or less the same, try to get training levels up and getting atleast 2 supports to orange before summer camp, at this point you want to be gambling good rainbows even if at 40%, after a while you start to develop a feel of which ones are worth and which aren't, don't be afraid of resting once or twice during summer if you don't get good rainbows, a risk free +40 energy +1 mood is better than the low stats you get from an empty training, run high fan count G1s like the triple crown/arima kinen, if you have 2 stats with atleast a B by the end of the year its a good run.

Senior year is where you start to pivot your focus, if i get all the hits on skills/inspirations i need i start to play a bit more conservatively to not fuck up with a bad training but if you dont you might aswell yolo everything to try and get a good parent for sparks, sweep the rest of the triple crows (spring and autumn) focusing on big races.

Wit maxing/resting is a meme since everything past 400 wit is dimishing returns, tazuna is good for breeding good parents consistently

Yeah I think most people will probably tank debuffs. However, a lot of people are going to be unprepared for this race, as not everyone is going to get the ace they hoped for in this short amount of time. Many arent even aware of the hard stamina checks for this race and will gas or be close to. A debuffer is going to help pick those people off who come unprepared, not the guy with max stamina and all these recoveries. So if you dont have time to train up three aces (and who does on this accelerated schedule?) a debuffer is easier to crank out and better than nothing at least.
