so i tied to play halo mcc on legendary, barely made it to second level and i am not having fun, feeling like WaW on veteran difficulty all over again
is legendary even worth playing on?

The plasma pistols charged shot is a massive help when fighting elites (and maybe sentinels iirc) I couldn't imagine trying legendary without it

Use the plasma pistol in combination with the magnum, the MA5B is a death sentence because effective use requires you to get close to hose enemies with it, which is where enemies are at their most dangerous on legendary.

Legendary was always a meme difficulty you did just for the achievement/unlocks.
It's not fun, just run past every enemy you can, take it slow when that's not an option.

Bro Halo 1 on Legendary is incredibly easy compared to every other game in the series. It's all about headshots, aim, and taking cover. There's nothing wrong with playing Heroic until you gain skill

If you want to have fun with Halo but also have a bit of challenge, play on Heroic. Legendary was usually more about the challenge and achievement than for fun. If Heroic is still too hard for you, drop down to normal or easy. The important thing is to have fun above all else.

I remember the first time I played it I was on Normal, it was pretty hard but eventually I got through, and the last level or two were even too easy. So for Halo 2 I decided to up the difficulty to Heroic because usually the first game is the hardest and I was playing on MCC so it was a remaster, how hard could it be. lmfao
