Am I missing something? I haven't found any boss in Greymoor so far. I met Shakra who told me about some flying guys, I did the enemy gauntlet at Craw Lake and I can't go to those undiscovered paths because I can't jump high enough (I have the dash, mantis claw and umbrella glide thing)

I just defeated Lace and opened far lands, but now I am stuck. I grinded for the simple key and unlocked the door to the top left of bone bottom. Any help?

The reaper crest is the designated shitter crest. After healing, for a period of time you can hit enemies and they drop silk orbs which will in turn make it easier to heal again. Not only that but it makes pogoing off enemies braindead tier easy. If that wasn't enough it gives you extended range on attacks. It's the most casual crest...but I'm using it myself because this game is hard

No unnecessary jumps, beastfly adjusts its charge attack so if you are on the ground you can either jump over or go under him.
Use his stomp attack to pancake the adds. It's a bit messy but you'll get it eventually, I did it before getting any upgrades besides the dash.

You can find Plinney in the bellhouse on the right, marked by three white pins above the door. Cycle through his dialogue and select 'Yes' when prompted with 'Sharpen Needle?' to receive the Sharpened Needle.

To the people having a lot of trouble, make sure to use silkspear. The damage it does instakills most normal mobs in act 1 and it is the equivalent of like 4-5 hits for bosses. Also has a huge range

There are brief moments of "hey, this is kinda neat", but they're quickly overshadowed by bullshit design for the sake of bullshit. The enjoyment I could've gotten out of Silksong was diminished the moment the devs decided to fuck with the player for the sake of artificial difficulty.
Hopefully someone takes the time to rebalance and revamp the game with mods, because it could honestly be a pretty damn fun game.

Reaper Crest is actually kind of ass. I'm using it myself, but the way it completely neuters your up slashes makes it very weak in a lot of areas. Any time you have to hit things above you it's hilariously bad.

At least it's not the Beast Crest. It makes platforming off of background objects far easier too.

What I love about everyone getting filteted is that this is actually what Hollow Knight was intended to be. It was designed entirely around having 3 masks at the start of the game. It was a last minute decision to up it to 5. This was probably the right move at the time, as the lessened difficulty probably helped it go mainstream and sell millions. But now that TC have made it, they don't need to pull punches. You start with 5 masks but it may as well be 3 as every enemy that matters deals 2 pips right out of the gate. This is the intended difficulty and I'm glad people are being filtered left right and center. I personally am not even good. I bash my head against the bosses like a wall until I clear them, it may take me upwards of 50 attempts, but it's fucking fun every time. I beat savage faggot this morning and it took me a couple hours, but beating him was so damn satisfying. Similarly, it looked like spiney sister was gonna take forever, too, but that fight turned out easier than expected in the end.

Poison works but it does a percentage of the tool's base damage. You need a tool that can proc poison a bunch (cogwork wheel and delver's drill both hit a bunch) and as many sharpeners as you can get (at max sharpeners your tools do 350% damage). Quick Sling doubles the tools you throw.
Equip the Architect Crest and you get three sets of tools and two Blue Tool slots. Add in a third tool like Snaresetter or Pimpillo for CC and you have a very dangerous arsenal. Just play keep away and let your tools take care of the rest.

How is she overpowered? Her hitbox is wonky, the silk powers are lack luster, the special items are situational and every kit has a caveat that makes it annoying to use against certain enemies. Even her health is basically the equivalent of 3 masks and you need to grind 2 upgrades to make it worthwhile.
She doesn't even have a straight dash or a double jump for most of the game. The only good thing is the i-frames with the base crest pogo, but even that is annoying to use at times and situational at best.

Early game there is an area just west of The Marrow's bell station. Go east until you enter Mosshome, clear out that screen, drop down one screen and clear it. Go west through the top exit and there is a bench. Rest and then go up and east again. Depends on how you play. I 100% rely on traps so I unlocking as many slots on Arcitect as I can so I can stack as many tool buffs and safety measures for boss fights.

Then you get your silk and crests fixed and get a BDSM cutscene straight out of Hellraiser with Hornet tied to a table with the Leviathan from Hellraiser 3 probing your body.
Congrats, you now have the Witch Crest.

Parry, you just need to time your strike exactly right. Lace is really good practice because she telegraphs her attacks, has a very simple move set, and is reasonably predictable. Also the Wanderer crest seems to have a larger parry window than the hunter or reaper in my experience.
