I will say one thing. Even with my nitpicks and issues, I still think Silksong is kino because it does what the original Hollow Knight did so well.

It's a game that just keeps surprising you on all fronts. Whether it's a fun surprise or an infuriating surprise or a cool or epic or sad or cute surprise, the game doesn't stop trying to surprise the player. And that's what I love the most about the genre desu.

ACTUAL GENUINE ENDGAME AND ENDING SPOILERS:
the final boss was super fucking lame. they literally just reused radiance, pretty much every attack she does is either reused from radiance or reused from another boss in silksong, it's fucking pathetic. extremely boring fight since i already did it back in hollow knight, extremely boring setting of just "dark room with black background" like she's just some random miniboss in a cave, complete nothingburger of a character whose motivations are "me want child" and that's it. they also expect you to feel bad for lace after her second fight (which was 100x better than the final boss by the way) even though she showed up one time 20 hours ago and then did and said nothing for the entire game.
anyway, the whole thing just ends on a wet fart. super disappointed, it feels like they were rushed as hell with this even though the game was in development for seven fucking years. maybe the "true ending" is better if there is one, but i'm certainly not motivated to seek it out after that boring shit.

I just got the Beast Crest. The moveset is... fine. I don't like the spinny down attack, but more confusing is the bind mechanism. Why would I ever want to opt in to gaining no heal when I cast heal? Does it activate bind much faster?? Is it really really good if you can activate it on a staggered boss or something?

Got the beast crest from defeating the beast fly. Fuck that boss. I also opened a lever through a locked door last night to the skull tyrant by using reaper crest.

I think my complaint about silksong is that when you explore and find beads its basically like throwing them away because you are sure to wander into an enemy encounter or boss room and lose everything. There isnt a lot of easy enemies and exploration of just easy low risk area, so anytime you find a cache of beads you may as well throw them away or not hit them.

Every single time ive bought a tool I simply take my 0 bead self back to bell beast bench and farm. Then I go to the vendor and buy him out.
It was way more comfy to explore and get geo caches and decide to go cash them in because non boss areas were not that bad.

And now that I have all these tools and need to use them in boss battles, I am now running out of shards when I fight a boss repeatedly and die. So I can try a boss 8 times maybe and then I have to go farm so that I can fight the boss with tools again.

This has potential, but the fact that the curse constantly drains your silk means it's very very hard to position yourself to take advantage of it.

This is probably your best bet to just get more silk, but you do have to have enough to bind in the first place. At least you can probably get some extra silk for a bind after clearing curse. Multibinder still a decent choice for double heals when silk scarce.
