Which video games based on cartoons do you like?

I played this game so goddamn much. The only thing I hated was the fact the secret characters like the chicken had generic moves and final attacks.

I liked this game too even if I never completed it and felt frustrated at the mechanics.

I don't blame you. I powered through the entire game just because it was structured like an Ed, Edd n Eddy episode.

Turtles in Time (TiT)
Bucky 'O Hare
Ducktales of course
Wendy: Every Witch Way by Wayforward, only the cartoon was never released
Does Disney's Magical Quest count?
Shrek SuperSlam was a pretty fun (but very simple and probably not very engaging) party fighter, that had a meme competitive scene a few years ago (probably dead now)
Madagascar (PS2) is a pretty ok platformer, in that it's very mediocre as a platformer, but had quite some variety with different characters and many minigames.

Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu probably doesn't count but it's much better than you'd expect.

I know that this is a nostalgiabait thread, but has any good licensed game base on a cartoon/comic (ignoring superheroes) been released in the last 10 years?

its wild that a harvey birdman attorney at law game exists and developed (or published) by capcom of all things, but it kind of makes sense when you see that its just a western phoenix wright bootleg.

I loved this game so fucking much as a kid. It was absurdly short so I'd just replay it over and over while constantly failing to find all the birthday items for the ending. I was absolutely obsessed with all the weird shit not in the show like that weird boss in the Shady Shoals level.

There were some attempts in the 2000s to do multimedia on consoles,
probably inspired by PS2 being a DVD player,
before shitty sales numbers brought them back to reality.
GBA cartridges had to be one of the worst format available at the time, however.

They were just called GBA Video. All of them were super compressed to fit on the cartridge, but the funniest ones for that are the Dreamworks 2-packs because they had extra compression compared to the individual releases of the movies.

I prefer golden age Cartoon Network shows like PPG, Samurai Jack, Courage, and Ed Edd n Eddy. 2007-2009 shows like Chowder, Flapjack, and Billy & Mandy marked a decline.

This. When Chowder and Billy & Mandy came out in 2007 I knew something was off. Then Flapjack came out a year later and it didn't even feel like the same channel anymore. I don't know why they abandoned their golden age Tartakovsky shows like Dexter's Lab and Samurai Jack so quickly. He kind of got the short end of the stick.

Jesus Christ this game was LOOOOONG! I got to Nightbrace's lair and had to put it down for a while. If you like K.N.D, it's surprisingly packed with content, they even added an unlock in the extras menu to play as all the bosses in the game in a mini fight gauntlet.

I really liked Billy and Mandy. It's from about the same era of stuff like Ed Edd n Eddy but it ran for a while so maybe that's where you're getting confused. You're not going to convince me a show that drops a character on you with the name "Professor Gaylord" sucks.

Never liked Chowder but it had some damn good gags. Always hated Flapjack, just felt way too stupid. I stopped watching Cartoon Network by the time Regular Show was airing but that always stood out to me as a gem amidst an era of trash. I should probably go through it some time.

Fun fact: Every single member of Sector V follows the Kojima naming principle.

Numbah 1 is Nigel Uno.
Uno being 1 in Spanish, obviously.

Numbah 2 is Hogarth "Hoagie" Pennywhistle Gilligan. Jr.
Junior, meaning he's the second.

Numbah 3 is Kuki Sanban.
Sanban literally meaning "third"

Numbah 4 is Walter "Wallaby" Beetles.
The Beatles being commonly referred to as the "Fab Four." This is probably the most obscure connection.

Numbah 5 is Abigail Lincoln. Lincoln being the president on the US $5 bill.

They don't have to use his original design if need be, but he's still the first Looney Tune. I feel like that should get some sort of recognition.
