Green always activate at the start of a match, very strong.
Obviously you need gold heals, those take priority over everything.
Then for end closers straightaway spurt, this is do or die.
General purpose great abilities that are better than curvature for this map is long corners/straightaways. Cheaper, better boosts here. End closer/pace chaser/whatever your style is corners/straightaways are equally good. These skills are consistently great in every distance.

not too many good uniques for this race, but symboli rudolf’s emperor and oguri’s triumphant pulse are good too.

if none of those are available and you have points leftover, THEN grab curvature, but its so expensive that you probably wont have the cash for it. Its not as good here, but its generally pretty good.

But shes got enough stam with standard distance and an extra white heal. Lates are energy efficient, she was neck and neck with my golshi who is basically beating any golshi that doesnt have spurt. Did you sometimes see your End Golshi is in front in the early race then suddenly slow down to the last position? Japanese called that reverse thrust. After 1.5/2.5 anniv it is somewhat nerfed so Front Runners' advantage is reduced. But later some front runners get green skills called OONIGER (literally means big escape) that allows them to change their strategy to be much front, but exhaust more staminas. That allows them to be meta once more.
But even in today's JP CM, a team of three OONIGERs can be hard to beat.

For global, just enjoy your front meta for a year after Seiun's released.

Yep, what makes an acceleration ability good is that it activates right at the start of the final corner. Its insane how fucking far ahead a golshi with spurt will go compared to even a long S maxed out speed golshi. That ability is do or die for this course, unironically more important than your stats. Obviously you want good stats but if you have to pick between a good golshi with spurt and a “great” one with perfect stats and Long S, the spurt golshi is winning. Just not against the perfect one with spurt, but with how short notice this CM is, Ive noticed everyones aces are a bit sloppier. Yes the perfect golshis exist, but we’ll have to see how common they are.

Careers give you about 8-10K+, races within careers can also hand out random money. Grinding careers lets you do bingo which gives you gold. Daily races for gold are good. Spam careers is likely the easiest thing. Then do the special missions as well.

Remember sweating your ass off for CMs is more for bragging rights than the actual rewards. Just make a lazy ace and dont borrow with breedtism around each race, but instead just use your runs to make generalized 9*’parents that can be used for different purposes. Japanese had on average a month to prepare for each Champs Meet, and even they think this is way too fast for us. So pace yourself guys. Aim for class B rather which gives very respectable rewards. Everyone has the same disadvantage: lack of time and energy. This pace is brutal and I fear many will get chewed up if they dont pace themselves

There’s also quick mode which you can shorten things even quicker like the directors long forced curscenes or aoi kiryuin and happy meek’s bullshit that drags on forever. Quick mode gives you a tl;dr version, combined with fast forward its over super quickly. I do quick mode for scenario scenes only and leave the trainee scenes as is (but keep fast forward on). My runs take like 10-15ish minutes. I can only do about 4-5 per day with the stamina for a career taking about 5 hours to build up. So like 2 hours of career mode everyday for me and Im considered a super grinder kek

Yeah that’s another good way to do it. Scope out the CMs that sound fun. Gemini is difficult and on short notice. If you skip ones that gives you more time for the perfect ace and you can pick races that better suit your favorite character or style. For the non serious ones you can spend a day or two throwing together a team with borrows and roll. Once again the rewards are pretty similar and you get good rewards simply for participating. People worry too much about this stuff

I have it on so that it wont skip events I havent seen, but at this point Ive seen most of them, even the ones not in my deck, at least their intro event. And yes I know exactly what Im gunning for and which selection will be optimal during which event. It speeds things up but it also means my umas are consistently strong and tearing through careers/racking up tons of fans. Ive seen a lot of test rooms. Literally Golshi is winning ever race, no matter whose it is. A Golshi is winning. This is different from the last CM where you saw more random pace chasers outside of Oguri snagging wins like Rudolf or Teio, Tachyon, and Golshi was still strong there too. But I saw variety winning. Here straightaway spurt is so fucking busted that hardly any other style can compete. The good thing is a lot of people dont seem to understand just how good it fucking is. To secure a victory against unprepared people, it will get you free wins even with a not perfect golshi.
