Honestly I have no problem with the difficulty but the lack of rosary beads is just ridiculous. Even if you kill every enemy you come across and never lose a single bead to death, you will barely even be able to afford benches and maps without farming. And buying fast travel points, charms, weapons, the simple key, mask shards, etc. is completely out of the question without powerfarming missionary bugs.

I just don't understand what they were going for here. Did they want people to grind? Did they want people to just ignore the few items and upgrades in the game and just play through everything with starting power?

You get a shitload of beads when you reach Act 2, don't sweat it.

You can get 1000 beads in about 10 minutes in greymoor. It sucks that you sometimes need to farm but atleast its quick.

sounds like a skill issue.

Why do you have to break them all off the hanging strands one by one and watch as they roll 200 feet into a spike pit? Why can't you just cut the top of the string and collect them all at once?

You largely stop running out of beads once you reach Greymoor.

I am at the end of the first act and just got done doing a fat farming run to buy the ant seller's item. I could grind for the small key but grinding is really boring and I don't know if it's worth it.

Get to halfway house in Greymoor and farm the pilgrim enemies just to the right. It doesn't take that long to get hundreds of spare beads. Make sure you also string some, you want to carry at least 200 on you as rosary beads at all times to unlock stuff in new areas

They store beads in your inventory so you don't lose them upon death. The cost strings is 80, but the strings store 60. If you can, you'll instead want to buy Necklaces which cost 140, but store 120.

Lets you keep them through deaths. You spend 80 to earn 60, but they can't be lost on death, then you just break it when you need them for an item or bench or whatnot.
