Dev is just some wannabe writer that is wise enough to commission an artist before showing their slop.
Dev is currently working on multiple projects, all in early access, all of them being in the renpy engine.
They dont care enough in what they are making, no real passion, just trying to sell a story setting when they start a project and make half baked garbage at the end.
Their story telling is the equivalent to an awful bedtime picture book that you only bother to check out because the art grabbed your attention

Been a while since i read the entry, but all the SCP does is that it hangs around near you if you download the program. It's never stated to be actually malicious or anything. The girl in the log killed herself because she thought it was fucking creepy but the brother trucked along just fine and even took some strange comfort in it.

Sci fi holographic companions just talk at you. I was thinking Mal0 would be part off the core gameplay look. She would be integral to solving the game's puzzles. Maybe also helpful in evading enemies. Perhaps if its a fixed camera game, then you can have her splt off from your player, and you get a small Mal0 POV camera on the top left, allowing you to use her to scout ahead or watch behind you while you work on something.

Alternatively if its first person, maybe she can tap you on the shoulder to get your attention when something is approaching, and it'll make your controller vibrate or put an indicator on the screen for M/KB players. Could also be sent to peak through doors (as in literally through, she just clips through them) to tell you if any enemies are inside.

I like your ideas though, especially the shoulder tapping. It would be a great way to build a bond between the player and Mal0, which is something that a lot of games with built-in companion characters fail to achieve. The recent God of War games where the companion characters just shout commands and warnings at you to compensate for the fact that enemies are often off-camera felt like a lazy way to do it, and only served to make them annoying and bossy rather than helpful.
