Bonework fucks me up like no other VR Game and makes me feel sick after like 20 minutes. Though it's probably just a case of practicing and getting used to it for me since I had the same issue with blade and sorcery. Q3 user here doing pcvr.
I use virtual desktop over ethernet.
Bitrate was unstable over wifi, now it always stable with very low latency. (Main bottleneck seems to be 4090 hevc encoding now, not network)
I used the official usb cable for a while and the meta/oculus software it was very mediocre and it was a bloated pos.
So went for usb/ethernet adapter with PD. Never run out of power and bandwidth now.

The Q3 SoC can only handle about 150mbps of 265 and then the decoding latency just explodes but 264 is just fine.
Kinda sucks since 265 is the only one with 10bit encoding so...
Over wifi I managed to push 360mbps @ 264+ profile and my overlay shows about 28ms total latency with 4/6/8 encode, transmit, decode.
Transmit should be a solid 3 if you're using ethernet so might wanna use that.

Old news, they exposed the api recently. Passthrough is grainy and glitchy but still good enough to read from the phone or monitor. Usable if you watch some video on a giant virtual screen while cleaning the room, but for any task that requires precision it's shit.

I recently got back into VR and I've been playing Blade and Sorcery for about an hour and a half a day. I've done this for the last two weeks and I've legitimately lost weight doing it.

Gorn 1 and 2 are also fun though I'd say not as good.

Resident Evil 4 VR is a blast and it's always nice doing another runthrough of that, especially from this new perspective.

Pavlov VR is hit or miss, sometimes it's fun as hell if you can get into a good lobby othertimes it's a bunch of retarded children screaming and not actually playing the game.

Project Wingman was KINO but you play with a controller, which is fine.

I've been saving Boneworks, the Walking Dead game, and Half Life Alyx for rainy days so I will report back eventually.

As I said everything is ethernet now. Only my phone uses wifi. I get 200mbits av1 (not 265) 10bits. Decode latency is around 8 indeed limited by q3 soc. I could try with x264 again since I now have more than enough stable bandwith by having the q3 on ethernet. Network is around 2ms (used to be around 20ms on wifi). Would also likely reduce encoding load.
I dont move much in VR so wired is so much better for my anyway

In terms of muliplayer, just Contractors Showdown, Walkabout Minigolf, and Ancient Dungeon. Walkabout Minigolf is perfectly fine on its own. I can just chill and watch vids while playing. Ancient Dungeon is also fun enough on its own, but that's where I start feeling a bit lonely. Contractors Showdown is basically unplayable trying to do solos and it's not very enjoyable playing with complete strangers who often times are kids.

I so desperately want to play Into the Radius 2, really when 1.0 drops, but I figure what's the point since the main reason I want to play is for some multiplayer fun/scares with a bro.
