Silksong is not hard, the problem is that people came from Hollow Knight after using their longneedle and quickcast builds, they used to spam attacks and kill everything in a matter of seconds. You can't do that here and that's why people are mad. In Silksong you have to poke-dash-poke, repeat. It's a different way of playing

Also in HK people knew where every power up was so everyone knew how to get max masks, charms etc before attempting a hard fight. Now everyone has a blank map and doesn't know where and are fighting at the INTENDED difficulty.

Could someone give me a small hint on what I'm supposed to do now? I've basically done everything. I've beaten every boss I've faced, I've fulfilled all of the wishes in each town, and I've scoured every inch of the map. I know I'm missing stuff, I need two more mask pieces and at least one more spool extender things. I've beaten the final boss once already.

There's a locked bellhome in Deep Docks that I can't open and the person at the bellhome in Greymoor told me to go away. Above the Greymoor bellhome, there's a bench where I can craft a tool, but I don't have anymore craftmetals. There's also a craft bench in High Gate, but I'm missing a craftmetal for that too. Also, I'm missing the Apostate key to open two doors in Slab.

I hate that I have to ask. I feel like at this point the game should be giving me breadcrumbs to find whatever last little things I'm missing.

It taunts enemies so if you're fighting a flying mob that retreats off the screen to throw shit at you, pressing R3 is basically a magnet to draw them back into melee range. Also works if you want to bring enemies close to hop off them without hoping they randomly line up to let you grab on a ledge above.

The delay on the charged attack kills it for me, and the range on the regular downward attack is too short and it's angled like 70 degrees which is too much when I'm already used to hunter's downward angle. Maybe after 10 hours I'd love it but at the point of the game when you unlock it, I'm more concerned with learning bosses rather than an entirely new moveset with different timings.

Okay. So I finally finished Act 3 and almost 100% the game.

I'm going to say it. People will hate me for it.
This is better than Hollow Knight and is a possible GOAT contender.

It has its flaws. I don't like how Team Cherry decided to stick tools and shit onto vendors and quests but overall, the complete package, is just crazy. I don't know they actually made this game like this.

I’m trying to finish up Act 1 pretty thoroughly before I go to 2. I think I did everything I cluld in Sinners Road, but haven’t fought a boss. There seemed to be a path that needed double jump, and the entrance to Bilewater, which seems silly to continue on if I’m already not completing this area. Am I missing anything or is it time to go to the Citadel? Seems like there’s no fast travel anywhere close, which is cock ass design and makes me want to finish it off now, if I can
