Barracks acted as an assassin that game, and Sk is a much better player than Barracks, but SK got blind-sided with that quick Valkyrie push and lost. Barracks winning that round threw the entire group into chaos, and put Sk at a severe disadvantage. It's a toss-up if he could beat Effort's ZvZ. Make no mistake, I think in a 3 game set, SK wins versus Rush or Barracks.

If Sk won, he'd face off against Rush and probably get out first.

the thing is that the SC:BW sprites are themselves 3D models, just turned into 2D sprites. You CAN make 3D look great, it's just that only NOW can we run full 3D games that have as much detail as the old 2D sprites. But the question is: who would have the BUDGET for such a game? It also needs to run on cheap hardware.

You can oversaturate your bases in BW. Best was only on 2 bases but he had a lot of probes and was mining them out like crazy. Instead of expanding he just went all in and pumped out units.
It certainly helped that zerg spent almost all of his gas on mutas, which aren't that great against dragoons.
