I guess it's not impossible but Engage was confirmed to be meant to release for the 30th anniversary but got pushed back, so I always assumed they only translated FE1 and sold it as a special edition as a backup. Doesn't feel like something they would do normally.

I honestly don't expect Animal Crossing to happen because of the complexities of it (the calendar issue already mentioned but also the fact it contains a playable NES emulator inside it too), but I really wonder where the GB/GBA Pokemon games sit here. I wouldn't be surprised if TPC would rather repackage them as individual games to sell digitally instead of being on the service, but who knows.

I'm honestly really hungry to replay some older Pokemon but don't want to emulate on PC or use my 3DS so Switch versions would be really nice.

Try watching pre-Switch era Directs, now those were complete bullshit to the point most people seem to have memoryholed them. I played Age of Calamity again back in June/July and it was alright. I will say it did crash three of four times randomly if a lot of stuff was happening which was a bit annoying as the game doesn't do checkpoints in the event of you closing out of the game so you'd have to do the whole 30-40 minute battle again from the start. The frame rate was stable unlike how it was on the Switch 1, but was stuck at 30 fps.

I would be interested in a Fate/Extella + Link collection for Switch 2. Also would rebuy Samurai Remnant for Switch if it got a Switch 2 enhancement as well since I want to a fourth playthrough before the FGO collab hits NA.

In terms of direct announcements the only thing that could even make sense would be the announcement of Red Garden or a trailer for Fate/Extra Record. I'd like to think that the next Star Fox game will be handed off to some new team / studio who has lots of big ideas that don't involve gimmicks. Star Fox Assault was a great direction for the franchise to move in but instead of letting it continue to grow and get more refined, Nintendo abandoned that direction entirely and made a bizarre 80s computer war game for the DS.

People are also tired of Andross. Star Fox is not Mario, you can't have the same villain conflict in every game. That would be like if every Star Trek movie had Kahn as the villain.
