It's an acceleration ability that allows you to shoot far ahead of everyone else. The reason this ability is good you have to go more into the weeds of the specific track layout.

I don't have the picture on hand, but basically, this skill activates early on in the final corner before the final straightaway. This is the most important part of the race. When it kicks off, it allows your end closer to surge forward ahead of everyone and then hold the lead in the final straight. A golshi with it equipped will get 10 lengths ahead of a golshi without it, which is what makes it so incredibly strong on this course. The descriptions don't really do a good job of explaining the mechanics behind it. But what you need to understand is there's no other acceleration ability on this track that gives you the same advantage.

In the previous CM on the medium course, it was Taiki Shuttle's Shooting to Victory and Maruzensky's Red Shift which were the good acceleration abilities, but on this map they're practically useless because they activate too *late*, so not even worth grabbing. Every course is going to have abilities like this where they're strong on some and weak on others. It's all about where it kicks in on the final corner.

Triumphant pulse is still decent here, but Oguri has that baked in.

For Oguri, if you're going to run her as pace, the strong abilities you want to grab are long corners/straightaways, pace chaser corners/straightaways, and lots of green abilities that improve your speed and power (spring runner, right handed for speed, firm conditions for power)

Then of course you need your gold heals, and you have that covered. Grab long corners/straightaways, and if you see Rudolf's unique ability emperor, that's the second best you can do. Unfortunately End closers are really strong this time around so it's hard to make a pace that will keep up with a golshi/taishin with spurt. Just pray you dont run into one. Get long S if you can, the one on the right looks like your best at a quick glance.

Yeah don't overthink it, but if you wanna dig into the autism, I recommend plugging your different umas into the umalator and seeing how the simulation plays out. You can see how much stamina you're estimated to have at the end of the race and all of that, but it is kind of a complex tool at first glance. Ask people in the thread if you're confused on how to read it/use it

The skills mode is pretty helpful for determining which skills are going to give you the most benefit for that particular race/style, worth checking at the end of the run to see what's the best thing to grab. Right now the umalator's defaulting to the Kyoto 3200m long which is the next course, but you can plug in whatever course you want, including the Cancer Cup.

Team trial track lenghts are random, so you're going to need enough stamina to survive the longest tracks of each type.

General guideline, but if you go for this amount you'll have enough for sure, even factoring in debuffers (which are less common in team trials). You can probably skimp a little bit on these estimates, but not too much. This is why stamina sparks are so valuable because it's a bitch to train. For the mile races you'll want to inherit lots of stamina so you can run speed and power cards rather than running stam cards (for the most part).

You're vastly overestimating how much people are prepared for this race. There's been very little downtime since the last cup (about two weeks) and most people are struggling to get even one decent ace. On top of that, the stamina demands are ruthless, many aren't aware that straightaway spurt is the strat, many aren't gonna bring enough stamina and will gas, ESPECIALLY in group B. Remember, if you lose every round you go to group B, so you're bound to see some shitters there.

I had A horses in Taurus and while I did good in the first round (15/20 wins on day one, 12/20 on day two), I got DESTROYED when I made it to class A. 2/20, then 2/20 the second day BARELY scraping into class B finals. I got 2nd in class B. Now my umas werent perfect, but they were good enough to be unprepared people. You dont want to luck your way into A class unless you have at least one strong ace. In my case I kept getting 2nd and 3rd to Oguri's with Shooting to victory, red shift, 1200 speed, 1000 stamina, two gold heals, and Long S. Dont play with fire anon. I wish I could have stayed in Class B. You are not ready for A if you can't even make an A uma, trust me you will be much, much happier in class B.
